I went to Arkansas last week for the state’s bar meeting in Hot Springs. While there, I noticed and became obsessed with tall white wildflowers lining the roads.
and while I was in Arkansas, I went to the Tindall family reunion where my grandparents were celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary
there were lots of cousins upon which to practice my portrait skills
and a little off camera flash light check before the big group picture. SB800’s to the left and right, built in flash on the camera. all set to TTL. Gary Fong lightspheres to diffuse the light. Cloudy to the left and clear to the right.
Congratulations to Grandma and Grandpa Tindall. That is quite a testimony in a day when a good number of kids don’t have just 1 set of parents and 2 sets of grandparents.
Thanks David. Indeed we are fortunate. My parents are still together, my lovely wife Julie’s parents are still together and all of her grandparents died married to each other. an old fashioned, but streamlined family tree with lots of good examples for my kids on how to stay together through good and bad.
BTW Julie and I just celebrated 21 years last month. hard to believe its been that long, but I reckon it has. having sons that are 6’3″ and 6’2″ and a daughter that is going on 5’11” brings home the crashing reality that we started on this journey long enough ago to raise some Brobdingnagians.
